What is VR&E?

Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E: Often called Chapter 31) is a VA program that helps veterans with service connected disabilities prepare for the next step in their career. VR&E can cover the full cost of your education, provide housing allowances, and offer career counseling. All at no cost to you.

💡Quick Tip!
Use VR&E before your GI Bill!
If you use up all your GI Bill first, you can’t maximize your VR&E benefit. That could
mean losing out on thousands in extra
tuition, housing, and additional career support.
